Chateau Queen is a 16.2 hand Premium rated TB mare. At her inspection, the judge commented that she is the type of top quality TB mare he wishes he saw in more warmblood breeding programs, a mare with excellent swing and impulsion in her gaits, correct conformation, and good size and substance of bone. She scored premium, and was the number 3 ranked broodmare inspected in the country in 2001! Queen also has the kind of temperament we select for in a sporthorse -- calm and quiet in any situation, forward and willing under saddle, safe as a trail and lesson horse, even when she's not in regular work, and simply a joy to spend time with. Queen produced an impressive moving silver medal scoring colt by Meisterwind, Masquerade, on her first try at motherhood. Masquerade is now started under saddle for his new owner Emily Greenwald, and he has a spectacular temperament and athletic ability. Her 2004 filly by Der Graf, Die Finesse, is the picture of grace and elegance, and her 2005 colt by Der Graf, Demetrius, is a gorgeous mover, with super conformation and type too.
