Le Mode

Breathtaking in his type and movement, Le Mode is a stallion for the future. Backed by generations of successful German and Swedish sporthorse bloodlines, Le Mode offers the best in movement, conformation and style for American breeders. Most importantly, Le Mode is proving to be a first rate sire -- his foals are breathtaking. In 2006, Le Mode sired SIX gold premium foals and TWO silver premium, with THREE foals scoring 8.5 or above! His 2006 filly L'Emmanuelle, now owned by Stellar Sporthorses, scored an impressive 8.6 overall! In past years Le Mode has sired the high scoring and reserve high scoring filly and colt, nationwide, on the RPSI keuring tour.

By the successful jumper stallion Limited Edition (Lucky Luke - Lacapo / Capitol I), and out of the performance proven mare Annex, by Symbol (Trak.), Le Mode comes from a line of talented and rideable sporthorses. His incredible suspension and swing, as well as his modern type and powerful free jumping talents wowed judges and spectators alike at the 2001 stallion keuring in Zweibrucken, Germany. Scoring highly on his trot, character and type, Le Mode finished Reserve Champion out of 22 top two-year-old stallions. Under saddle, he is proving to be as generous and rideable as he is beautiful. He also loves to jump -- see him below with H/J rider Mical Samuelson. We are finding that Le Mode's offspring have just the right combination of style over fences, floaty movement, and lovely type to truly excel in the hunter ring.

In 2003, Le Mode was Grand Champion in-hand at the Missouri River USDF Breeder's Championship series show, with an impressive score of 81.4%. Le Mode was the USDF All Breeds Training Level champion for the RPSI! He won every class entered, scoring between 68 and 72.4%, Training Level, at his first recognized show. In his second recognized show he scored between 66 and 70.7% at First Level. Finally, at the Midwest Championships in Mason City, IA on Sept. 10-12th, 2004, Le Mode and Laura were Overall High Point horse and rider at Training and First Level! His behavior is exemplary at the shows as well!

Le Mode is now in training with Heidi Basler of Basler Dressage, in Lincoln, NE. In 2006 Le Mode and Heidi showed successfully at Third and Fourth Level. Watch for them in Fourth Level and Prix St. Georges in 2007!

Le Mode is approved for breeding and licensed to Stud Book I by the Rheinland Pfalz-Saar International. He successfully completed his 30-day performance test in Germany. He has had excellent conception rates both by fresh and fresh cooled shipped semen.
