Powerfully built, leggy, with a beautiful face and an absolutely breathtaking, floating trot -- this July 5th, 2004 filly is by our imported Rheinland Pfalz-Saar stallion Le Mode (Limited Edition x Symbol), and out of a former hunter mare, Rosie Time. Both of La Vie en Rose's parents have shown successfully, and we expect her to follow in their footsteps!

This filly is calm and cool in new situations and will be an excellent show horse. She won her class in her first in-hand show, the Dakota Horsefest recognized USDF breeders series show in June, 2005. La Vie en Rose looks really good as a two year old -- balanced, elegant, feminine and substantial. She looks to mature around 16 - 16.1 hands.
