Summit Peak

Summit Peak carries some of the best jumping bloodlines in the world -- her sire is the legendary
Galoubet, leading sire of jumping horses, including multiple Grand Prix winner and World Cup winner
Baloubet du Roet. Summit's dam, the Thoroughbred mare Shirlee Steel, by Polished Steel, is the dam of successful show
horses Encore, Ce 'Est La Vie and Vogue. Encore competed with the USET ridden by Armand Leone, winning the Grand
Prix of Fontainebleu in France, the Prix de la Brierin la Baule, France, and the Garden State Grand Prix in New
Jersey. Vogue was a very successful hunter in CA who qualified and competed at Madison Square Garden
in 1984 and 1985. There are so many successful sport horses in Summit's pedigree it is impossible
to list them all here! Summit herself was a super scopy jumper to 4'6", shown only lightly in eventing and the
H/J ring due to her owner's busy schedule. Like her sire and dam, Summit has proven herself as a dam of athletic, sound
and competitive sport horses. Some of her foals include the super talented young Grand Prix jumper mareSympa, the RPSI approved Oldenburg stallion Ishmael,
Noli Me Tangere (deceased), , Robin, and Leda.
Her 2004 filly by Der Graf, Daydream Believer, is an outstanding mover and absolute athlete as
well -- she scored First Premium at her keuring with a movement score of 8.6, overall score 8.1. Her 2005 filly Double Take, also by Der Graf,
is an outstanding filly now owned by Melissa Pawluck of B.C. Canada -- and finally, in the spring of 2007, another colt -- SF Darius -- who looks to follow
in his big sister Sympa's hoofprints into the jumper ring. Summit's foals are always among my best!
