Solomon Farm Alumni

We knew him as Peregrine (Pennant x Nightshade), but his new owner Rachel Howell of Clifton, VA competes
him as 'Round Midnight. Peregrine is a character in the barn and a star at the shows... and though he's won the hack, and reserve championships, at
many A-rated shows in the pre-green hunters, Moses has really found his niche in the Ladies Sidesaddle
classes -- here he's shown winning the prestigious Ladies Side Saddle Under Saddle at the Upperville Horse Show!
His owner loves him so much, she returned to Solomon Farm and purchased Peregrine's half sister Sentimental and another young prospect
Ilena (now known as Soiree)! Click on Peregrine's name to see more pictures!

Lorelei
Quite possibly the perfect cross... new owner Anna Purdy of Manassas, VA, thinks the Nightshade x Le Mode cross is quite heavenly! Just ask her about her
coming two year old filly Lorelei. She's beautiful (of course, with her parents!), and looks to have a 'model' career in store for her. We can't wait to see
how this beautiful filly matures, but one thing is for sure -- she's smart and sweet and a dream horse for one lucky owner!
Stardancer
We thought Stardancer would surely be a dressage star someday when we saw her at the Zweibrucker Select Fall Sale in 2001 and imported her to grow up here on Solomon Farm ... and her new owner
Heidi Basler of Basler Dressage, Lincoln, NE, would have to agree! See her in work in Wellington, FL, winter 2006-2007.
Atlas
Out of one of our best mares, Atlas was always a farm favorite with his curious, upbeat personality and glowing blood-bay coat... now he's
someone else's favorite too, and a successful children's hunter in Florida for new owners, the John Jinks family of Tampa, FL.
Gatsby
Born long-legged as a fawn and a lovely mover too, Gatsby has gone on to excel in eventing and the dressage ring for his owner Donna Wolf.
S.Pionage
This young Zweibrucken stallion can do it all... not only is a gorgeous mover, but he's showing his talent as a jumper for owner Mical Samuelson of Philadelphia, PA. Watch for "Spy"
in the jumper ring, 2007.
Camille
We always knew this filly could jump... now she's a well-loved children's hunter for new owners Lindsay and Jane Bell of Magnolia, TX! Thanks to Clare McCrummen of Austin, TX for seeing her potential
and bringing her along!
Dublin
Pauline Ewald of Ashton, VA has the honor of bringing this fabulous black Der Graf son along and preparing him for the east coast shows
next year. He's off to a good start in 2006 ... Great American Insurance/USDF Breeder's Series West Central Champion Colt!
Ilena
This young mare will be burning up the H/J ring for new owner Codi Lambert of Chantilly, VA! We've rarely had a youngster
show this much raw talent for the hunter ring! Congratulations and good luck!
Rapunzel
Rapunzel was our first foal from our outstanding Premium mare Lumina -- and she's grown into a lovely mare herself for owner Tanya Pohlman of Tolland, CT.
Independance
Independance, known as "Indy", is proving to be as good natured and athletically talented under saddle as his sire, Ishmael. His owner, USDF Region IV Director Sarah Patrick
of Sioux Falls, SD, showed him in hand as a yearling, winning a Cosequin/USDF Breeders Series championship ribbon!
Doubletake
Solomon Farm star yearling Doubletake (Der Graf x Summit Peak) has quite the view from her new pasture in British Columbia
with lucky new owner Melissa Pawluck! We wish them best of luck in the future!
Inca
New owner Jessica Hockney says Inca is the easiest two year old she's ever started under saddle! Inca is destined for a hunter career, and perhaps the breeding
barn as well, with the hopes of producing top-quality hunter ponies.
Izod
Not only is Izod one-of-a-kind to look at... just ask his owner, Justine Krieg of Rancho Santa Fe, CA, and she'll tell you
he's just as special inside!
Limoges
As lovely and rare as fine china... this ethereal gray Le Mode son is proudly owned by Angie Williams of Beaver, Ohio!
Recognize these two gorgeous faces? Solomon Farm alumni Rapunzel (Rienzi x Lumina) and Granite (Gonzo I x Mega Howey) now bring joy to owner Tanya Pohlmann. Thanks
to artist Gretchen Almy of Gretchen Almy Designs for allowing us to showcase this beautiful portrait.
